About The Event
As you may know, our Centers for Active Living are closed until further notice. Many area seniors rely on these Centers, not just for socialization, but for meals. Due to COVID-19, these older adults have turned to home-delivered meals.
Since March 2020, your Agency has seen an increase in the number of new meals on wheels starts due to increased need across the County.
Not only are older adults in need of meals, but due to social isolation have other needs such as telehealth interventions, oral care, protective equipment, grocery delivery, home maintenance, home supplies etc.
The Federal Government, local funds, and the Pennsylvania Lottery provide only a portion of these costs. This is why we depend so much on donations.
In order to meet the needs of area Seniors, we are asking for your help by Sponsoring a Senior with your monthly donation of $20
