Mature Resources offers a variety of Health and Wellness programs, free of charge, that help individuals care for their mental health.
CURWENSVILLE, PA. - Mature Resources reminds area residents that May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, and that there are resources available to those living with mental health conditions and their loved ones.

Mature Resources offers a variety of Health and Wellness programs, free of charge, that help individuals care for their mental health, including Healthy Ideas, Powerful Tools for Caregivers, and the Wellness Initiative for Senior Education (WISE) programs.
Â
Healthy Ideas is offered on a case-by-case basis as a community depression program designed to detect and reduce the severity of depressive symptoms in older adults.
Â
Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a community-based group program about self-care for family caregivers. Participants will learn to manage emotions, increase self-efficacy, and use community resources.
Â
WISE is a curriculum-based health promotion program that aims to help older adults increase their knowledge and awareness of issues related to health and the aging process. Older adults will be provided with the information and resources they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and become empowered in their own health and the healthcare they receive.
