Mature Resources Emergency Fund for Older Clearfield County Residents

MRAAA's Emergency Fund for Older Clearfield County Residents helps to meet basic human needs for those who have exhausted all other resources. To receive assistance, eligible older adults must be referred by a recognized social service agency or their care manager. Once referred, MRAAA will work to provide the resources directly to people in need.

What Kind of Help is Available?

Home Heating Oil

The Emergency Fund pays home heating oil companies directly to deliver oil in as little as 24 hours.

Medicine and Medical Supplies

The Emergency Fund can purchase medication or provide assistive medical devices.

Utility Shutoff Assistance

The Emergency Fund can make emergency payments to prevent shut off of gas, water or electric.

Food and Basic Necessities

The Emergency Fund can purchase groceries and other basic household necessities for those in desperate need.
