LeadingAge members make a difference on Capitol Hill. Your voice is the trusted voice. Your experience and leadership matter—and now more than ever, elected officials need to hear from you.
You don’t need to be a lobbyist or policy wonk to be an advocacy champion. Your on-the-ground expertise is your most valuable asset. Together, we can amplify our voice to raise awareness about the most critical issues impacting aging services providers, their employees, and the older adults and families they serve.
Join us on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, on the final day of Leadership Summit to be part of a movement to advance key workforce recruitment and retention initiatives, increase funding for affordable housing programs, reduce the regulatory burden on nursing home providers, and bolster efforts to improve access to housing, care, and services for older adults.
Sign up for Lobby Day when you register for Leadership Summit. Choose either a Full or Daily Wednesday registration category – then add Lobby Day to your schedule on the ‘Events’ screen at the end of the registration process.

TELL CONGRESS TO PROTECT OLDER AMERICANS
(Protecting Meals on Wheels)

Meals on Wheels is powered by people just like you. Together, we are millions of seniors, volunteers, dedicated staff, and donors strong. We need your help to fund and protect the programs that support older adults. With the annual appropriations process underway, it is essential to urge Congress to protect and increase funding for Meals on Wheels programs nationwide. Simply maintaining current funding levels isn’t an acceptable outcome and in fact would represent a funding cut at a time when more investments are desperately needed. Seniors are depending on us to speak out and demand action – contact your Senators and Representative today!
